Catherine Clarke

USAID GHFP II Intern

Catherine graduated from the UNC-Chapel Hill with a BA in International Studies and later joined the Peace Corps, serving for two years in the Philippines as a secondary school English teacher in a rural, island province.  During her service, Catherine led several projects designed to promote English education in rural schools and organized activities to engage local youth in environmental stewardship.  After returning to the States, she pursed a Master’s in International Development at the University of Denver’s Korbel School of International Studies with concentrations in Global Health and International Project Cycle Management.  Catherine previously interned with Save the Children’s Emergency Health and Nutrition Team and has relocated from Colorado to Arlington, Virginia.  She is excited to join USAID to work on the TRP through the Global Health Fellows Program II and begin a career in the field of global health.
